What makes Zeek different?

We like long walks on the beach, pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain. But even more than that, we like sleep.

Zeek was founded by our team of West Australian sleep enthusiasts that had their eye on the bedding industry for years. We watched as brands came and went, all with more and more complex technology, odd names™, and layers that confused even our most mattress-savvy members.

So we thought: why not make this simple? Good quality bedding that just does what it’s supposed to. Can’t be that hard, right? Turns out it’s not!

Well, not when you have a team of sleep experts, a world class manufacturer, and bucket loads of passion for what you do. (Which, spoiler alert: we do!)

Why Zeek?

“Zeek” is Gaelic for ‘wonderful and rejuvenating sleep’. Just kidding, it’s definitely not. But we had you for a second there didn’t we?
The truth is we pondered over names for ages. We wanted a name that captured our team. Something casual, friendly, cool, and one we could ideally rhyme with to an eye-rolling extent.
And so Zeek (and #ZeekFreak, #ZeekGeek, #ZeekSleep, #ZeekWeek... etc.) was born.

Do you offer financing?

Love it, buy it, take it home, pay for it later! Zeek is happy to offer Zip payment plans that allow you to break your payment down into equal amounts over time so you can focus more on loving your new addition and less on the bill. We also offer Afterpay, so you can shop now and pay later!

How much does delivery cost?

A big fat $0! Woo hoo! We offer free delivery on everything!* (except our Adjustible Bases as shipping costs and logistics on those are, frankly, a nightmare.)

How long will it take for my Zeek item to arrive?

All Zeek items will be dispatched from the warehouse within 2-3 business days after the order has been placed. Delivery will be sent via StarTrack Express or Allied Express and delivery times vary between 5-7 business days, depending on location. Rural and remote deliveries may be up to 14 business days.

Can I specify a delivery date?

Unfortunately not. We deliver via third-party couriers and at the moment it's not possible to specify delivery dates and times.

Can I pick up my order myself?

Yes, depending on your location. Zeek items can be collected from any ComfortStyle Furniture & Bedding store in Western Australia. You will need to contact the store to arrange this.

Do I need to be home to receive my order?

Zeek packages will be left where it is safe to do so if no-one is home, at the delivery drivers discretion. Should you wish to opt out of unattended deliveries, please contact us about your order.

Can I send my Zeek items to a PO box or Parcel Locker?

No, a physical Australian street address is required.

Returns & Warranty

How does the 100-night sleep trial work?

At Zeek, we understand it takes more than a few minutes to know if a mattress is right for you. That's why we offer you a 100-night sleep trial! Try our mattress and if you don’t fall in love with it, we’ll come collect it and give you a full refund. All we ask is you try the mattress for a minimum of 30 days before initiating the return. Read our Terms & Conditions section to fully understand how it works. Only the Zeek Hybrid and Original mattresses are available for the 100-night sleep trial. The Bunk Mattress is not included in the 100 Sleep Trial.

Do I need to keep any of the packaging?

We've heard that Zeek boxes make great cubby houses, hideouts and rocket ships, so only if you want to! Otherwise all packaging can be disposed of right away. Keep in mind, however, that should you wish to return something later on, keeping the original packaging will make the process easier.

How do you return your mattress?

If the Zeek mattress isn't the perfect fit for you, we want to ensure your return process is simple and easy. Just email our support team sales@zeek.com.au with your order number and we'll get your return started.

How does the refund work?

Once your Zeek mattress has been collected, our courier will give us the heads up and we'll process your refund. The money will be returned through your payment method, usually within three to five working days of us receiving the return.

How long is the warranty?

The warranty for Hybrid & Original mattresses is for 10 years. The warranty is not transferable and covers only the original purchaser who continues to be the owner of the product.

What does the warranty include?

This warranty covers: Defects of a structural or manufacturing nature, including physical flaws in the mattress causing the foam materials to split or crack.

What does the warranty exclude?

  • Stains, soiling, pilling or burns to the mattress and fabric cover.
  • Comfort preference. (Your body may take 30 days to adjust to the mattress)
  • Damage due to inappropriate bed foundation.
  • Normal increase in softness of the foam, which does not affect the pressure relieving qualities of the mattress.
  • Change of mind.
  • Natural aroma of the mattress (this usually disappears 48 hours after opening)

Care

What type of bed frame should I use?

Zeek mattresses are compatible with most bed frames and bases including box foundation, slatted base, adjustable base, and even on the floor. Bear on mind that the firmness might be different according to the base used (i.e. divan and floor base might feel firmer, slatted base might feel softer). Zeek Mattresses should not be used on curve posture slatted bases.

Can I sleep on my mattress right after unboxing it?

We recommend allowing one hour for your mattress to expand before sleeping on it. After 24 hours, your mattress will have fully taken shape and will perform at its best!

Should I flip or rotate my mattress?

The Zeek mattresses are designed to be used one way up, so flipping is not required. We recommend rotating the mattress 180 degrees every 2 weeks during the first 3 months, then every six months to maximise performance and durability.

Can I unzip my Zeek mattress cover and wash it?

Yes, you sure can! Gone are the days of sleeping on dirty, stained mattresses. With the Zeek mattress you can easily unzip your mattress cover and hand-wash it in warm soapy water. Remember to line dry the cover and treat it as you would your favourite dress. We do recommend using a Zeek water-resistant mattress protector to help prolong the life and quality of your Zeek mattress and cover.

Design & Technology

Are the Zeek Mattresses Safe?

Zeek only use foams that are independently certified by CertiPUR-US®, a 3rd party global rating standard, to be free from known harmful chemicals and gases. Zeek is free from Ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, heavy metals, formaldehyde, phthalates and Volatile Organic Compounds.

Can I test out the mattress before purchasing?

You betcha! You can experience all Zeek items at any ComfortStyle Furniture & Bedding store in Western Australia.

We also have our 100 night sleep trial to fall in love with your Zeek mattress. If you are not happy, you can easily write us back and return the mattress - you will be 100% refunded. Read more on our Terms & Conditions.

Can the Zeek Mattresses be used on an adjustable base/frame?

Yes! Both The Original and The Hybrid mattresses are compatible with your existing adjustable base or our full-featured, high quality Zeek Adjustable Bases.

Where are the mattresses made?

We’re a proudly West Australian owned and run company! We’re as Australian as sausage sizzles, sunshine, and shrimps on barbies (okay, maybe not that last one). Our Zeek products have been designed & developed by our team of experienced sleep enthusiasts to perfectly suite our Australian conditions. Our products are manufactured in China to the highest standards.

Will Zeek smell of “Off-Gas” when opened?

Zeek foams are of exceptional quality and off-gassing is limited or non-existent. If there is any faint opening smell of fresh foam this will dissipate quickly and is from new foams being vacuum packed and not from any chemicals.
